I love that the Holidays bring people together. I particularly love getting dressed up in my holiday finest and going to spend time with those you love. If you're getting married near the Holidays, don't be afraid to use the traditional reds & greens in your bridal party's attire. Stunning red and supple green bring warmth and beauty to a cold winter's day. Choose long, formal dresses for your girls and add color to the guys with vests and ties in great holiday hues.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Get Married at Christmas time! It's one of the best kept secrets when it comes to weddings. Everyone decorates for Christmas, which mean you can spend less and have a fabulous wedding. Lights are plentiful and every venue possible will have numerous Christmas lights giving your night the perfect glow. If you're not up for the traditional reds & greens that comes with the holiday season, opt for a more glamorous look with whites, creams, silvers & golds, the perfect color combo to make your day opulent.

Candy Bar

The sweetest thing to make a wave in favor trends in a while. What a great way to send guests off 

with something that won't get tossed in the trash after a week. Dinner is over, cake is cut and your

guests have been dancing away, they may be starting to get a little peckish after all of those 

awesome dance moves, and a sweet treat is the perfect solution. Your guests will have so much

fun picking their candies and filling decorative bags or boxes.

You can find candy to fit any color scheme, variations of the same color or multiple colors 

together all look great in glass jars. You can even add flair to your jars with ribbons, glitter 

and custom monogram stickers.

It's okay to see red on your wedding

One of the most popular wedding color themes is Red, Black and White, and there's a good reason for it. It's classic, vintage n=and modern all at the same time. Red can be a great color to use, but picking the right shade is crucial, some reds reflect a specific time of year. Bright reds are great for summer and daytime weddings.Darker reds are perfect for winter and nighttime. Red has a best friend in candlelight, it can make any shade romantic and tone down some of the brightness. If you're looking to add a twist to a classic red is the perfect color for you.

Okay Let's Talk Budget

           No one wants to talk about the wedding budget but it's always in the back of your mind. How much is this going to cost me? Will this put me over budget? Do I have room in another area?  You can create the wedding of your dreams with any budget! You just have to know what to keep and what you can go without. Your wedding is about the two of you joining together for the rest of your lives, you don't have to have a dessert trio in addition to your wedding cake or and ice sculpture, in fact there are many things you can do without.
          For example, many people spend a fortune on a wedding videographer, but how often ar eyou actually going to watch it. Probably on your 1st anniversary, but not more than that. Skip it all together, pictures invoke the memories you want to feel and remember.You won't be reminded that you stumbled over your vows.
           Limos: They are so cliche and no longer really necessary. More and more ceremonies and receptions are being held at the same location. This is a cost you can simply do without.
           RSVP Cards: Typically you would buy a rsvp card, an envelope for it and postage. Save yourself someone and have your guests RSVP on your wedding website. Many wedding websites are free and allow you to communicate with your guests and keep track of who's coming easily without costing you anything.
          Wedding Programs: Your guests won't miss a wedding program and the only one who needs to know the order of ceremony is your officiant.
          Menus: Another non-essential item that your guests won't miss. They'll see what your serving if it's a buffet and if you've given them a choice of meal, they already know what they're getting.

Take a closer look at your budget. Choose 3 thing you want more than anything and let your groom choose 3.  Once you've established that it will be easier to eliminate things that aren't as important to you.

Centerpieces

Centerpieces are a crucial in order to create the look you want. Too much or too little can ruin your vision. Choose what style reflects you best modern, earthly, vintage, classic, rustic, trendy, or princess. I'm sure you can think one word that describes your style best. Groomsmen

I think it's pretty hard to mess up the groomsmen's attire, but some people manage to do it. So here are the guidelines to go by when picking their attire.

• Consider the group are they all going to look good in your color scheme? 
• Simple is best
• Keep it masculine (that means no pink or purple)
• Keep it clean
• Choose classic over trendy
• Never go too casual
