When I think of Summer

When I think of summer I think of hot weather, sunshine and water. Cold water. Swimming pools, oceans and rivers. So when it comes to summer weddings there is a good way to add water to your wedding and a bad way. So let's start with the do's. Do add floating candles for a romantic touch. Do add submerged flowers for an exotic and unique touch. Do NOT, get married by submerging yourself during your vows. This is just tacky. Not to mention you and your guests will loose out. Guests come to see you get married, hear your vows, see the tears on faces, not your dress bloat up and the lines on your face from the snorkel. If you really want to snorkel, do it on your honeymoon.

Ahhh Summer

I love the idea of a summer wedding! Clean, crisp whites and bright colors make for an amazing palate. These are a few of the things I thought were beautiful. I love that the crisp white allows the colors to really pop. Pinks and blues are at their best.Oranges and browns take center stage. No need for blacks or grays. Summer is the time to let loose, let your color palete be inspired by nature around you and play it up.

An Event To Remember

If you were to type Wedding Blog into Google. A million results would come up. I LOVE weddings, but I hate having to sift through the junk just to find ideas that I like. What I love best about a wedding is the details, the tiny things that make it an event to remember. So I've decided I'm going to write about the details I love and the ones I hate. Kind of my own personal Wedding Do's and Don'ts. What inspires me and how to make it your own. I hope that this inspires you as well and that you will find ways to make your event one to remember
